Growth Accelerator is a Government subsidised scheme, to help small businesses receive the support they need to help them to grow. It is a programme which combines Business Coaching, and 6 business growth workshops. It is only for businesses who are serious about growing. As a Business Coach based in the Southend area, I am able to act as a Growth Accelerator coach to a number of local business.

Growth Accelerator Eligibility
Limited companies or Partnerships of 0-249 staff who are committed to growth.
Whilst it is heavily subsidised, it isn't totally free. The payment is required at the start too.
0-4 employees £600 cost, plus a £700 VAT charge
5-49 employees £1500 cost, plus a £700 VAT charge
50-249 employees £3000 cost, plus a £700 VAT charge
The VAT is £700 because it is on the total amount, rather than just your contribution.
What is included in a Growth Accelerator Programme:
1-2-1 Coaching from me, Vicky Kelly. It works out as 20 hours for 0-4 employees, or 30 for 5-49 (WAY cheaper than I can afford to offer it without the GA backing). This typically would be done in 2-3 hour to slots, as there is an expectation on building momentum quickly.
Access to 6 x 3hr workshops put on by Growth Accelerator in Chelmsford. The workshops are:
We would have to sit down together first and put together a case for the growth of your business, and what would be the key areas we would be working on to achieve that. This is then put to Growth Accelerator to approve. All being well they will send you a contract and ask for your payment. Although they may also ask to meet you face to face.
On receipt of your payment we get to work. The work would be done in stages, covering the agreed areas, and would require signing off along the way.
Once the Growth Accelerator part is finished, there would be an option to get further matched funding for Leadership and Management Development (which I could provide) of up to £2K per person.
What do you do if you know someone who is interested?
Put them in touch with me. I will then arrange to meet up with them to do a discovery session and ensure that I can help (no cost to them for this), and we can go from there. Of course this isn't going to work for everyone, as there is a commitment of cash flow, and an eligibility criteria, but just because someone isn't a potential GA client, that doesn't mean I can't help them.
