What Is NLP?

NLP, or Neuro-Linguisting Programming, to use it's full name, is the study of the structure of subjective experience.  What this means is that we all have a personal representation for everything that goes on around us in our lives.  Using NLP we can change the representations and therefore change our experience which each element of life. 

How Can NLP Interventions Help?

As a certified practitioner of NLP, Vicky Kelly regularly uses the techniques she has studied during the provision of coaching to her clients.  In addition, she can also use it ior therapeutic interventions, or 'breakthroughs'.  Because everything that we experience is directly affected by the way we represent that experience to ourselves, by changing the way we represent that experience, that immediately changes how we feel and what we are experiencing!  In a typical one hour breakthrough session, Vicky can enable you to make one of the following changes:  

  • Overcome A Phobia.
  • Resolve A Personal Conflict.
  • Change Your Limiting Beliefs
  • Change A Like To A Dislike - Enabling You To Give Up A Certain Food Or Drink, Or Change The Way You Feel About A Person Or Situation.
  • Give Up Smoking.
  • Improve Motivation (e.g. For Work Or Exercise)
  • Gain Confidence Or Other Resources.
  • Replace One Behaviour With Another
  • Identify And Change Unhelpful Strategies

A one hour breakthrough session can be booked on its own, or it can be taken in collaborating with a course of life coaching session.  This is particularly useful resource to take advantage of, when coming up against a personal barrier to success.  NLP breakthrough sessions are life changing, and therefore the price for these sessions reflects that result.

What Is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the practice of inducing a state of trance or relaxation in order to speak to the subconscious mind.  Often we bring about a state in ourselves where our unconscious mind is out of rapport with our conscious mind, as it is very suggestive to the influences we experience in day to day life. 

Hypnosis is very safe, it cannot be done against your will and you will be aware of what is happening.  You will have experienced states of trance regularly throughout your life; when driving without thinking about it, watching films, sitting in meetings etc...

How Can Hypnotherapy Help?

After being taken into a relaxed state, positive suggestions are made to the subconscious mind for new behaviour or feelings in a given situation.  The conscious mind is very obedient, but sometimes repetition can be required to reach the desired state.  Ad hoc top up sessions may also be required.  Hypnotherapy can be used for a number of benefits including:
