How life Coaching Works
Many think that a life coach will tell you how to live your life for the better. However, life coaching will help you find out exactly how you want to live your life and show you how to get there.
Coaching is all about drawing out the answers from you. Contrary to popular belief a life coach is not someone who tells you how you should live your life. It’s someone who helps you to see how YOU really want to live your life, and how you can make that happen. We begin with some fact finding. You would usually be asked to fill in a short questionnaire before the first appointment so we can hit the ground running. During each session we would work through your thoughts, feelings and goals. At the end of each appointment you will have made some self-discoveries, and will have some agreed actions to go away and work on before the next session.
It is recommended that a course of coaching is undergone, as this holds you accountable for the changes you would like to make, helps you to generate momentum as you implement your changes and gives you the support on a longer term basis, as you can discuss any barriers you hit along the way.
