What to Expect from a Reiki Appointment

I start each session with a conversation, helping me to establish what you would like to get out of your appointment.  Before we begin, I ground you and we scan your energy, looking for anything that is ready to be released and anything a bit more stubborn.  Then I begin.

This fully clothed treatment can be a combination of hands on and hands hovering just above you, or all of it with hands hovering if you prefer not to be touched, or know that you enjoy this approach more.

The majority of the session will take place with you lying on your back.  You will be asked to carefully turn over onto your front towards the end of the session.

After the session finishes, you will be given some water and encouraged to drink lots throughout the rest of the day.  You are welcome to share anything that you experienced with me.  I often have a “message” to share with my clients, so if that is the case I will share yours with you.

Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to remove jewellery.
